2024 UPDATE   

​​Work done in 2024;

- Old wrought Iron gates repaired and repainted

- Concrete ramps taken out to reveal original victorian steps (A metal wheel chair ramp will be available)

- Front wall render repaired and re-pebble dashed 

- Pews removed 7x rebuilt into free standing around edges of the chapel (Rest recycled into the build)

- Floor dropped by 3"inches to be level with the tiled isles 

- Serious damp and wood worm mended in the floor and boards replaced using pew wood

- Stage front totally rebuilt and vents put in to prevent further damp damage 

- PA system and Cat 6 cabling put in/ hifi installed 

- Floor sanded and varnished  

- Pews taken out of the top area/ control room built/ pew wood reutilised to built floor in upper 

- Curved wall design built 

- Downstairs of chapel painted white/ upstairs started 

- Loft to be insulated with 200mm of insulation 

- Finishing balcony conversion/ plasterboarding 

- Electrics installed into rooms 

- Plumbing put in for a vertical radiator in top room ​

- Frontage dig out

- Frontage complete - More planting to do in 2025

- Fire Alarm first fix 

- Fire doors hung in upper rooms x6

- Building scaffold/ false floor into chapel

- Plastering  balcony conversion

- Sanding floors in balcony converted rooms/ staining floors 

- Second fix electrics and fire alarm install

- Building landings and steps required by building control

- Replacing glazing window panels 

- Installing blackout blinds

- Painting chapel interior S​

- Painting chapel's plastered rooms 

- Electrics lighting 

- Carpeting upstairs 

- Scaffold coming down

February - Landmark - Chapel signed off

 

March - June:

Converting hall to build accommodation

July - Project Complete - Hall & Chapel signed off
